"girls" did not "choose" to be prostitutes, they were
dreaming glamorous dreams of modeling,
Mira Sorvino - comments made in the TV promo to the LifetimeTV
mini-series Human Trafficking
Human Trafficking, as one person mentioned on a local
message board:
"This entire dilemma is dehumanizing, leading these women into drug
addictions, AIDS infections, and, of course, suicide! Talk about Hell on
Earth!" Women are being held against their will !! These
girls/women did nothing wrong! And they are kidnapped into Hellish
Circumstances !!.
One final frightening thought: What if it was You ? Or your daughter, or sister ? UGH !
IT MAKES YOU THINK - DOESN'T IT!!
As one other person wrote
on a message board:
"and it's terrible how something like this can exist in the 21st
century. not only does it affect women and female children, it affects men and
male children as well. people are trafficked for myriad of reasons all over the
world. we all think that in the post 9-11 world our borders have been secured.
we couldn't be more wrong. these people are smuggled in and deprived of even
the most basic of human rights. as many as 800,000 people are trafficked
each year. women are used in the sex industry, labor forces, personal
servitude, among many others."
Don't allow things like this to happen in your communities, one true to life
example of the human trafficking that goes on here is that I've personally seen
women being brainwashed into dancing at Gentlemen Clubs which in turn only lead
to these same women in just mere weeks having to be selling their bodies for drugs
and sex.
IT'S QUICK, FAST, EASY MONEY - ESPECIALLY IN THESE HARD ECONOMIC TIMES!!!
Once their hooked, it's hard as hell to get them out. And when their
hooked on the drugs and sex via the Gentlemen Clubs, these women will lie,
cheat, deceive and steal and will even backstab people to keep their cash flow
coming in - BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY – Especially by the use of:
· Drug Stings/Setups (The planting of illegal drugs on a person or in their vehicle),
· False police complaints ranging from any form of harassment to charges more serious than you can imagine,
·
Threats and intimidation from either the dancers
themselves, by other club employees, bouncers, by their clients, or even by
their club managers!!!
(eg: Say that a G.C. bartender doesn’t like you because you choose to tip
someone a few dollars more than her; from this animosity, you can be harassed,
threatened and intimidated by some of her so-called friends just for what she
calls, your disrespect to her – and YOU DID NOTHING WRONG.
-or- you can walk into a G.C. not knowing anyone, sit down, have a drink and
the bartender thinking that she does not like you just because of the way you
look will falsely set you up for any damn thing she can think of and you might
be sitting in jail a few hours later all from her personal hatred of you, and
again, you did nothing wrong)…
I’VE SEEN IT HAPPEN – AND IN THESE HARD TIMES – THESE
PEOPLE (ESPECIALLY THE DANCERS) WILL GET SEVERELY
NASTY TO GET “THEIR” MONEY – BY ANY AND ALL MEANS NECESSARY …
A TRUE TO LIFE EVENT:
A Norwalk Ohio woman who got ported down to Florida in 2004 wants to sue
someone because she initially lead a man to believe that she wanted a
relationship and a way out of a domestic violence situation and away from the
club scene and the adult cabarets. When the man tried to intervene and help,
the man was immediately threatened by the gentlemen club owner, threatened by
the club manager (who was found out to be a former private investigator), and
the woman was immediately sent packing down to Florida (to an area known by the
club manager/private investigator for work in where else - gentlemen
clubs). Months later when the man moved out of town and things quieted
down, the man tried to find her to help her out; when he was able to contact
her, he was then told by the woman he initially tried to help to either leave
her go or he'd be sued for harassment...
From my many years of playing music in the nightclubs, this is how I have
seen just how women are brainwashed, used and abused on top of what they've
been through...
These women who try to get back on their feet are literally desensitized and
are verbally, mentally and emotionally manipulated by the 'so-called' trusting
people all around them, and this is especially done by a small but handful of
select few females who have been in the gentlemen club business at least six
months up to many years in (and it’s these select few people that truly know
just how to talk a good game to these women).
And in the case of the Norwalk Ohio woman (who was a ’97 High School graduate, Top 10 in her class, college educated with a prominent scholarship), she was completely demoralized and very vulnerable by domestic violence from the beatings and verbal beratings by a former husband which in turn, only made the emotional, verbal and mental manipulation upon her much easier...
THIS MADNESS CANNOT CONTINUE...

There is now a petition started to support the International Marriage
Brokerage Act, which FINALLY places regulations on "mail order bride'
agencies. As the Lifetime TV movie Human Trafficking illustrated, such agencies
often use the cover to sell women from abroad as slaves in

Bullying
I deserve to have some happiness in life, not to be
teased, taunted & belittled by people at school...
Don't allow your child to suffer by the hands of those who want to boss &
belittle people for their fun and games.
This is something else I know of very well. If you or someone you know is going
